Africa Rail is the only railway exhibition on the whole continent.
The purpose of the organizing committee to improve the railways of Africa. Working in collaboration with the world’s leading players in the industry, we believe that this event will contribute to the achievement of our goal and look forward to working with you.
Over the 20 years of the event, the event has grown from a small conference into a forum occupying 3 exhibition halls in Johannesburg. Today, Africa Rail has become the most important and popular exhibition and conference of the African railway industry, supported by industry organizations and departments.
In 2017, 173 exhibitors took part in the exhibition, 6,300 visitors were registered, including 500 VIP.
Exhibitors by industry: 27% of participants are railway organizations and railway operators, 23% are end users, 17% are suppliers, 13% are governmental, municipal and regulatory bodies, 10% are investors and financiers, 10% are contractors.
Among the participants of the forum, traditionally, the Russian railway holding NPK United Carriage Company is one of the leaders in innovative car building, an integrated provider in the sphere of production, transport services, and operational leasing, engineering and service maintenance of freight cars.
